Faber A3 Yellow | Marble Polishing Powder | Why A3 Yellow

The most important thing about the Faber A3 Yellow | Marble Polishing Powder is the fact that it fully dissolves in contact with water. By doing so, it spreads very easily, it does not fill up the white pad and it is easy to extract. Other types of marble polishing powders are very gritty and deposit on the marble grout lines.

Another great thing about the Faber A3 Yellow | Marble Polishing Powder is the fact that it has a huge coverage area. While working on a large marble floor, the same composition can be re-used in a number of areas. After one area is done, the composition can be pushed to another area with a floor squeegee and used again.

The next great thing about the new Faber A3 Yellow | Marble Polishing Powder is its high compatibility with pretty much all types of marble surfaces besides the ones that are highly acid sensitive. It can be used to polish all light and dark coloured marble surfaces. The product is food safe and it can also be used to polish and restore worktops and dining tables.

Let’s not forget about the amazing vitreous finish created by the new Faber A3 Yellow | Marble Polishing Powder. If you are a regular user of marble polishing powders, you must know how hard it is to create that perfect finish. While some marble polishing powders are great for achieving that “laminate” looking gloss, others dry out pretty dull. A3 Yellow creates a perfect finish. It looks elegant, it is durable and it covers most types of light scratches.

The price is also great. We can provide all marble cleaning contractors with a 20% trade discount to make the new Faber A3 Yellow | Marble Polishing Powder one of the most affordable marble polishing powders in Ireland. Our company also provides free training to anyone that intends to start on their own or they want to try the product.

Faber A3 Yellow | Marble Polishing Powder | How To Use It

All marble polishing powders are finished products. It cannot be used over dirty surfaces, rough surfaces or unpolished surfaces. We recommend all users to grind the surface with diamond pads before polishing with the new Faber A3 Yellow | Marble Polishing Powder. Diafil Discolux 3 Step Pads are the easiest to use and the most efficient pads.

Diafil Discolux Pad 1 | Removes scratches, dull patches, stains, old sealers and levels up the surface

Diafil Discolux Pad 2 | It removes very light imperfections and it creates a matt polished finish

Diafil Discolux Pad 3 | It creates a nice glossy finish and it prepares the surface for polishing with the amazing Faber A3 Yellow | Marble Polishing Powder

After the surface is prepared and it looks spotless and smooth, you can prepare for polishing it.

To be able to take on a larger job, over 10 sq meters, the user will need to use a low speed floor buffer, a wet vacuum, a few mop heads, gloves, a few white pads and a good marble floor cleaner. For the grout lines the user should be using a great grout scrubber to remove dirt deposits.

  1. Apply 2-4 scoops of A3 Yellow directly to the floor surface

  2. Pour some water over the surface to create a semi wet composition

  3. Apply the floor buffer with the white pad on it over the composition

  4. Start buffing the floor while releasing more water as you move along

  5. Try to go at least 5 times over each individual area

  6. Use a small hand held white pad for all the edges and hard to reach areas

  7. When happy with the results, extract all the waste with a wet vac

  8. Wash the floor a number of times to remove all the fine residue from the floor

  9. Buff the floor on dry with a clean white pad | High speed floor buffer desirable

(The point of washing the floor a few times is to remove as much residue as you can. That fine residue generated by the powder will dry up and it will generate dust when the floor gets its final polishing with a dry white pad. Less residue on the floor, less dust)

Faber A3 Yellow | Marble Polishing Powder | Recommendation

Do not undertake large marble polishing projects without having the right training or the right equipment. Just because a few videos online makes it look very easy, we can promise you it is not easy at all and the chance of damaging the floor for good is pretty high. Polishing a marble floor is very tricky, it is a step by step process and the chance of failure is high. Most marble polishing contractors have at least 5 years of experience. But if you still intend to undertake a marble polishing project, here is what we recommend you:

  1. Work in small areas and start in areas that are less visible before going on a larger scale

  2. Do not buff the marble polishing powder on a dry without applying water to it

  3. Do not forget to buff each individual area roughly the same amount of time

  4. Do not forget to extract the waste and wash the floor a number of times

  5. Do not forget to buff the floor with a white floor pad after it has fully dried

  6. Do not touch any other surfaces that do not require polishing

  7. Do not use bare hands to lift up powder from the bucket

  8. Do not under dilute or over dilute the product to avoid over or under use
